Darren is the Co-Owner and Director of Keyframe Digital and Krow VFX. The studio has operated in the animation and movie business for over 25 years. Darren is a member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, the Director’s Guild of Canada, the Visual Effect Society, and an active member of CASO. He has directed and Supervised hundreds of series shows and is currently nominated for an Academy CSA award for Directing.

Darren received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Fine Arts at MUN, majoring in painting. He has illustrated dozens of books and has done many notable portrait commissions. He has shown in galleries in Toronto but has been away from painting for a number of years and is now glad to be part of the NOTL Arts Collective, as he journeys back to his painting roots.
