Art in Bloom

The Back Alley Gallery hosts ‘Art in Bloom’ group exhibit with an opening on Friday, April 5th from 7:00PM – 9:30PM. The show runs through April. NOTL AC member, Patricia Haftar will be part of this must-see exhibit.

Gallery hours: Mon and Fri, 10 am –  4 pm

“The inspiration for our show comes from both my love of flowers and the beautiful impressionistic painting of Claude Monet, who has been quoted as saying “I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers”. This was also the inspiration for my painting, A Home for Monet. I hope he would approve of the abundant garden in the painting. Spring flowers especially bring me joy. The vibrant colours of red tulips and bright, yellow daffodils herald the beginning of warm weather and new life. Our show is called “Art in Bloom” because we have our creative depictions of blooms in a variety of mediums and because we as artists, are sharing our life in bloom with you. We hope it brings you joy.”
