Queenston Pottery has been crafting fine ceramic art for over four decades and sharing it with the Niagara region and beyond. Founded in 1978 by husband and wife Frank and Eva Micak, the studio started small with a focus on handmade pottery. Queenston Pottery began wholesaling its signature artistic and functional pieces as the business grew to gift stores across Canada.
Today, Queenston Pottery is a thriving multigenerational family enterprise run by Eva, her son Reesha, daughter-in-law Lisa, and their dedicated production team. The studio’s onsite gallery exhibits a history of one-of-a-kind ceramics, many purchased by delighted visitors from around the world.
Their gallery and gardens continue to be a welcoming Niagara destination for experiencing the beauty of clay and fire. The team handcrafts each stoneware piece using an array of colorful, reduction-fired glazes perfected over decades of experimentation. Fired at over 1300°C in a custom-built kiln, Queenston Pottery marries artistry with functionality to create lasting treasures.
