Sandra began her artistic journey at an early age through several years of private art instruction at the Sunbury Shores Arts Centre located in St. Andrews, New Brunswick. She later moved to Ontario and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Carleton University in Ottawa, ON.
After years of juggling a career with family life, she returned to her artistic interests during mid-life by enrolling in the Fine Arts (studio) Program at Sheridan College in Oakville, ON, successfully graduating with Honours in 2013.
She began showing & selling her early pastel/mixed media work at solo exhibits, several juried exhibitions and juried live art auctions at Centennial Galleries in Oakville, ON. Her works have been sold in private collections as well as internationally. She is a former member of the Pastel Artists of Canada.
Sandra currently works in acrylics & oils. She is presently enjoying realism and re-discovering the essence of common household objects, with a specific interest in reflected light on glass. She is currently represented by King Street Gallery in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
